Understand your emotions in two minutes a day

Initial exercises: immediately after installation

One problem, different psychology methods: CBT, DBT, imagery, body-oriented and art therapy. Choose what works for you.

Breadcrumbs: guided work on common requests, with audio

20+ topics: pick what bothers you right now. Questions based on CBT and other evidence-based approaches, a takeaway with its scientific basis, and an audio practice for the same topic.
  • Questions

A few guiding questions, from “what happened” to “what matters to you”.
  • A takeaway with sources

A short takeaway and an (i) icon showing what it is based on.
  • Audio for the topic

A practice to reinforce exactly this topic. Follow the whole program or play only the audio.
For example: resentment, catastrophizing and worry about the future, fear of getting sick, impostor syndrome, inner critic, perfectionism, procrastination, jealousy, breakup, loneliness, feeling peopled out…
RIVA PSY brings together approaches from several schools of psychology — CBT, DBT, rational emotive therapy, emotional-imagery therapy, body-oriented therapy, art therapy and others. The same problem can be worked on with different methods: you choose what works best for you. The app is educational: it does not treat or diagnose, and it does not replace a psychotherapist.
Important. Rivapsy complements, but does not replace, care from a doctor or therapist, and it is not an emergency service. If you or someone close to you is in danger, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU) or see our crisis support page.

How it works

Three steps, at your own pace
  • Notice

Two minutes in the diary: the situation, thoughts, emotions, body sensations and your reaction.
  • Understand

A map of your life: which people, places and activities charge you and which drain you, and how many hours you can be around others before irritation grows.
  • Work through it

“Breadcrumbs”: guided work on common requests with a closing audio, or a single audio by the name of a feeling. Follow the program or use it only when you need it.
Take a look inside

What makes RIVA PSY different

All of this is already in the app

A map of your life

See which people, places and activities charge you and which drain you, and how many hours of socialising you handle before irritation grows.

Help by the name of the feeling

About 140 named emotions. Each family of feelings has short exercises and audio: 100+ audio practices, from 30-second techniques.

Breadcrumbs

20+ common requests: questions based on CBT and other evidence-based approaches, a visible scientific basis and an audio practice for the topic.

Two ways to use it

Follow the program step by step, or play a single audio in a hard moment.

Adapts to you

If your entries are mostly negative, the app gently invites you to notice good moments and shows what lifts you.

Private and transparent

Your diary stays on your phone. Every topic shows its sources, and we say openly that the effectiveness of the app is still to be studied.

How this affects the people close to you
"When you don't understand your own emotions, the people closest to you feel it first - your partner, your kids, your parents"

"Notice your emotions and work through them without hurting the people you love"

"Healthy boundaries start with understanding yourself - not with guessing what's wrong"

"Notice your emotions earlier"
"Anxiety, panic and sleepless nights are familiar to many people. You can start small: notice what is happening. If it feels unbearable, talk to a professional."

"Body and emotions are connected. In the diary you can notice how. Talk to a doctor about physical symptoms."

"Support matters. The app can be a first step, and if you feel worse or stuck, a professional can help."
Please keep in mind that the app does not replace a psychiatrist, medication, or a psychotherapist — it complements them. The app is educational and does not replace professional help.
